Ciao ragazzi,

questo shooting per me è stato un sogno!

Non volevo più scendere da questo meraviglioso cavallo frisone del Centro equituristico Lopez Horses, situato nei pressi del Relais Castello di Petroia, secondo una recente classifica del Financial Times al 4° posto tra i castelli più belli del mondo.

Il centro organizza trekking a cavallo, in sella a bellissimi frisoni, da mezza giornata fino a 3-4 giorni, con pernottamento anche in tenda, nelle colline tra Gubbio e Assisi, attraverso il percorso di San Francesco.

Una fantastica idea per un weekend diverso dal solito, non trovate?

Ho scoperto che i cavalli frisoni, nonostante il loro aspetto imponente, sono docili e obbedienti, oltre che dolcissimi e coccoloni.

In sella a questo meraviglioso animale, con lo sfondo delle colline umbre e questo splendido copricapo indiano, mi sembrava di essere sul set di un film di cowboy.

Il copricapo che indosso  è realizzato interamente a mano, secondo la tradizione artigianale dei nativi americani da Novum Crafts.

this shooting has been a dream for me!

I didn’t want to get off this gorgeous Holstein horse belonging to Lopez Horses Centre, placed near Relais Castello di Petroia, at the 4th place  in the list of the best castles in the world ,recently published by the Financial Times.

The horse center plans trekkings on amazing Holstein horses, from half a day to 3-4 days tours, with the chance to sleep in tents, along the route of San Francis, between Gubbio and Assisi.

An amazing idea for a weekend, don’t you think so?

I found out that Holstein horses, in spite of their solemn aspect, are tame and biddable, as well as very sweet and cuddly.

While I was in the saddle of this amazing horse wearing this gorgeous indian headdress, with the background of the Umbrian hills , I thought to be on an Indian -cowboy film set.

The headdress I’m wearing is enterily handmade, following the craft tradition of the Native American.
